UK Health Radio has adopted a vibrant song as its theme tune, “Brighter Place” by upcoming UK band RedTails.
The music video was directed by academic Scott Hayden along with some of his students at Basingstoke College of Technology (BCOT). Scott has already advised on some projects for the UK’s bright new health and wellness radio station and he introduced this new release from the band to colleagues at the station.
The track will be played on the station’s popular Health Kicks Show (www.health-kicks.co.uk) which is aired on local Internet and FM radio stations worldwide.
Show presenter, Station Director John Hicks, said: “When Scott sent me the video I was captivated by the powerful song and the video itself. A great deal of our work as a health and wellness radio station, online television channel and magazine is about helping people to find themselves in a better place. So the song title is a perfect fit”.
“Apart from that, developing closer links with Scott and BCOT students, who are, for example, developing some new Europe Health TV channel idents for their portfolio – and in the longer term creating work experience opportunities – is really close to our hearts.” John added.

In the meantime, the station will air the video on its Europe Health Television and within monthly Health Triangle Magazine which is distributed to over a quarter of a million subscribers as well as airing on Europe Health Radio being launched shortly.
Let’s hope that the song reaches #1 but, if not, RedTails and director Scott Hayden can take consolation that their work will have helped put people in a Brighter Place across the globe because of their association with the UK’s bright new health and wellness radio network.
