Cameron joined the Action for Global Health team as Digital Campaigns and Media Officer in May 2023. He is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating cross-platform campaigns and scaling up the Network’s media coverage.
Previously, Cameron worked as Media Officer at Syria Relief, the UK’s largest Syria-focused NGO. During his tenure, the organisation evolved into its parent organisation, Action For Humanity, which responds to emergencies through humanitarian, development and peace-building action.
Cameron is passionate about refugee rights, and volunteers for refugee charities in Greater Manchester including Manchester City of Sanctuary. His role involves attending in-person sessions with people seeking sanctuary and acting as the organisation’s communications lead; delivering campaigns and creating multi-channel content.
He holds an MA in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Glasgow.
