Kirsten Hartvig ND MRN MNIMH DipPhyt is a registered naturopath, medical herbalist, nutritionist, psychotherapist and author. She is in private practice in Forest Row, East Sussex, runs herb walks and the YouTube channel HerbHunters. She manages the NIMH Education Fund Study Centre at Emerson College, and teaches materia medica and dietetics on the Heartwood Herbal Medicine professional course. She is a Danish government advisor on natural medicine, a member of EuroCam in Brussels, and president of the General Council and Register of Naturopaths in the UK.
Kirsten was born in Denmark, and trained at the School of Herbal Medicine, the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy, and the College of Spiritual Psychotherapeutics. She taught nutrition and dietetics at the European School of Osteopathy, wrote the nutrition and dietetics course for the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine, and has run nature cure retreats in Denmark and the French Pyrenees. She is also author of 14 books on natural health, herbal medicine and healthy eating.
